If you're reading this, you've been in one of my classes. Or you asked a question in the community and somebody answered. Or I walked you through something myself. None of it sat behind a paywall. I'd like to keep it that way.
Here's the honest math. Every prompt you run on Earthgrid.ai costs real money. I don't mean that as a figure of speech. Every month an invoice arrives from OpenAI. Another from xAI. Another from Google. I've been paying them myself so the door could stay open while this community found its feet.
So this page is the ask. It isn't a subscription. It isn't a course. If Earthgrid has been useful to you, put something in the tank. That's the whole thing.
There's no plan to sign up for. There's nothing to cancel. You contribute when it makes sense for you. You pick the amount. I add the tokens to your account. That's the whole mechanism.
The goal is a zero-sum game. What the community puts in covers what the community uses. Earthgrid stays open for the next person who walks through the door. Every dollar that comes in goes straight back out to the AI vendors. Nobody is getting rich here. We're keeping the lights on together.
Every little bit helps. Ten dollars is a real contribution. It is not a rounding error.
Straight to these companies. Earthgrid AI routes your work across OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI and Inception. Each one bills us by the token. Your contribution pays that bill. The balance shows up as tokens in your account.
Let me be straight with you. Earthgrid AI is not a 501(c)(3). Your contribution is not a tax-deductible charitable donation. It is a pay-what-you-can payment for AI credits, and you receive tokens for it. What I can promise is that the money goes exactly where this page says it goes.
Cover Some TokensThis isn't an abstract cause. It's the specific stuff you already use.
"...The layers (in Earthgrid) are way more intuitive... ChatGPT feels like it kind of dumbs you down... there's a lot of times when I go THAT'S NOT WHAT I'M ASKING... then it goes oh, you're right, you're right. It's like we want to make it harder for you... and I'm getting tired of it. So... I'm switching to Earthgrid AI."
I'm In. Let Me Contribute.Three amounts. Each one shows exactly what it buys you, in credits and in days. The bigger ones stack extras on top. No guessing, and no fine print.
Here is where those numbers come from.
One credit is 30,000 tokens on the Earthgrid base model. That happens to be what the average member burns in a single working session. Most people run one session a day. So one credit is one good day of work, and 250 credits is most of a year.
Now compare. Claude Fable is the most expensive model we route to.
At Fable’s published rates, $100 would buy roughly 166 credits.
On this page you receive 250 credits.
We pool everyone’s contributions and buy tokens in bulk, which lets us use each token more efficiently than other services.
Every token that isn’t spent on a result means a lower effective cost for the work you do.
Credits never expire - they remain in your account until you decide to use them.
Then stop deciding. Type your own number instead.
There is no wrong answer on this page. There is no minimum that earns my respect and no maximum that buys extra favor. Every dollar becomes two credits, so ten dollars is twenty days of work and you can do the rest of the math yourself.
The bonuses only ride along on the three tiers above. That is the honest trade for naming your own number, and plenty of people take it anyway.
Put in what feels right to you today. I will add the tokens by hand, same as always.
Card or PayPal, whichever you prefer.
Tokens are added to your Earthgrid account by hand, usually within a day. Use the same email you log in with.
It is one click away. Commit to $100 a month and you get 300 credits instead of 250.
That is not me being generous. It is me being practical. A recurring commitment lets me pay next month's AI bill before it lands instead of hoping it gets covered. Certainty is worth something to me, so I hand the difference back to you.
If you already know you'll be here in six months, take the better rate. You've earned it.
(You'll need to be logged in.)
Then don't. I mean that. Keep using it. Keep showing up to the classes. Pay it forward when you're able. That's how this is supposed to work. Somebody covered your seat before you got here.

Whatever you decide, thank you for being part of this. The classes. The questions. The late-night breakthroughs you've shared. That's the actual product. The tokens are only what it costs to keep the doors unlocked.
